So it looks like the tc 3000 dual 4-15" is out of stock, I had my heart set on it to :( dont want the 2000.

So does the sound splinter sub compare with it pretty good? this one? or any others in the same price range?

Why not the RL-S? If its still shipping...

Edit: This is for home theatre right? The RL-s is perfect for that....

TC2000 EBS design {also called LLT on the other forum} is a good plan.

Release your anger towards big and ugly audio installations, go big
and beefy. Eye candy is for snobo-philes. :groovy:

I work about 20 hours a week she works 80-90 hours a week  Sold a couple of HD DVDS and blu ray disc's. But it isnt enough for the amp. Just teh speaker and box. I am gonna have to sneak around her and take out some money from the bank :naughty:

the rl=p is based on the tc-9.

if u want something comparable to the 3000, check out the RLS 15. which is geared more towards home audio. The port tuning is recommended @ 15hz for home application.

I ended up buying the tc2000 15" last night. Talked to a couple of people and they said for my application the tc2000 is better then the tc3000.

With the new tall surround their really is no difference from what kyle says, just that the tc3000 can perform in a smaller box. Also handles about 500 more watts or so.

So the box is gonna be double sided all around with internal bracing. So 3 sheets of mdf, box will be around 200lbs before the driver or amp  I cant wait :D asked th box builder if he had time to finish it off in high gloss black. :suave:

I could of built it. But it would of looked like doo doo. It would of sounded the same but it would of had cricket cuts for sure, thanks to the local lumber yard not giving an ish like always. I had them build me about 10 boxes for my spl ride all of them had f-up cuts. some as bad as 1/2 an inch.

Yah my girl was very upset when I first got it, and always was..... So I decided to sell it, got the same amount of money I paid for it though, I posted it a while back.

I will go back to a rotel 1095 and I am also gonna sell my towers and get 3 of these and use them for l/r/c

http://www.selahaudio.com/id14.html

I will lose the built in subs for the towers so I may add a second 15" in the future. Since I know they wont have the tc2000 anymore soon this is kind of a temporary sub.

wooo theres some young home theater audiophiles on this forum.

I my quest for low extension bass for my gig rig for bass guitar I got an accugroove whappo grande 21" cabinet and an infra mxb processor from bagend which the whappo is compatible with, so I guess I am a bassist audiophile

****ty pix but here it goes, tuned to 17 hertz. has tons of bracing. At first I thought 17 hertz was way to low for music but WOW it sounds incredible!

heres a couple of pix (I added even more bracing)

Sell something and buy a sweeper....

Also, looks decent... However, make sure that EP2500 doesn't get too hot with that DVD player setting on it...

I did a couple of models but my friend chad told me were I should tune it and exactly how big the box needed to be, I dunno how many models he used if any.

Heh since I know for a fact your smarter in the electronic area then I am, can you point me in the right direction for a subsonic filter I am wanting something in the 15 hertz range. Thylantar is helping me out but it doesnt hurt to have a second persons advice.
