the made me a box and put some white cotton stuff in it feels really soft what is it used for? Why is it even there in the box? box is small for 3 12's sealed any idea why they made the box so small? also they told me they put some poly somthing in it to trick the box to make it thinking it is bigger or somthing is this legit?

It's polyfill (sp), it's to make your woofers think there is more airspace in the box. Especially for small builds with constricted space. Yes, it's legit. It can't trick a subwoofer into thinking a 1.0Ft^3 is a 3.0Ft^3, but it does slight improvements.

well, did you actually specify what volume you wanted the box?

and dont you have a ruler/tape measure?

box is pretty small... but bearable, just :)
