well! at this time i'm going to make a seald box for my two JL 12w6v2 ... my amp is a jl 1000/1 .
but in case i could, i would like better make a ported box (tune to 32.2hz) !
so maximum dimensions in my trunk to make it are:

29,5in (width) X 14,2in (Height) X 18in (depth)
so if it is possible with this volume to make a ported box....i can pay plans with paypal. :greedy:
thanks a lot

yes its possible, that would give you about 3.5 cubes before port and woofer displacement.

what kind of air space does your woofer need in a ported box?

thanks for your answer
specs for one 12w6v2 are:

Free Air Resonance (Fs): 25.0 Hz
Electrical Q (Qes): 0.480
Mechanical Q (Qms): 7.100
Total Speaker Q (Qts): 0.450
Equivalent Compliance (Vas): 2.82 cu. ft. / 79.9 liters
One-Way, Linear Excursion (Xmax)*: 0.65 in. / 16.5 mm
Reference Efficiency (no): 0.250%
Efficiency (1W/1m)**: 85.9 dB SPL
Effective Piston Area (Sd): 77.8 sq. in. / 0.0502 sq. m.
DC Resistance (Re): 6.75 ohm***
Nominal Impedance (Znom): Dual 4 ohm
Thermal Power Handling (Pt): 400W
Driver Displacement: 0.090 cu. ft. / 2.5 liters
Net Weight: 19.4 lbs. / 8.8 kg

hope it's good...

3.5 cubes before displacements is not very big for two twelves. he is going to be down to 2.5-3 cubes after displacements

Go sealed. Your ported box will not be big enough. You are at 3.3 cubes before displacements. After displacements you will be well below 3 cubes.
