Marketing comedy as usual.

A first-order crossover of individually-auditioned components provides a simple, pure signal path.

How it is a pure signal path if it has a 1st order crossover {ie a capacitor in
series with the tweeter and inductor in series with the mids}... rofl

IIRC they are 20k a pair too!

that is outrages!!!!

i wouldnt pay over 2 k for each!

now make them like the 800ds just with the same style and add another midrange and better woofers then the 800ds then they might be worth 20k but ill say about 12k tops

I'd take a pair of Magico Minis over those any day. But if I was to spend over $10k on a pair of speakers they would really have to be full-range.

The anniversary signature series is usually never made to be a big producer but to be pure awesomeness at what they are supposed to do.

I believe the design goal was to build a super clean, ultra low distortion, easy to drive 2-way system (they have lower sensitivity but the impedance curves are supposed to be extremely tame especially for B&W).

Never heard them, and probably never will, but I would image they do that job fantastically...
