What are you trying to accomplish?

If you want absolutely the LOUDEST you can get for the money, then these will not only tear your head off, but eat the flesh around your face before doing so.

They will not compete though with sound quality. They will need to be aimed on-axis, and you'll need a lot of tuning capability to get them smoothed out.

You'll also need to couple them with some serious pro-audio mids. With the overall sensitivity of that tweeter, you'll need A LOT of mids. Take a mid rated at 92 db @ 1w/1m and you would need 5 of them to match up with this tweeter. Or a couple of mids and a ton of power, and much less on the tweeter.

I can be done, but you're looking at a very specialized setup, and you'd better know what you're doing.

You'll be able to play 8k test tones at levels that will leave you permanently deaf after 30 seconds.

These are tweeters. They're not extended bandwidth drivers. This driver will only be useable from about 3000 hz and up.

Like others said, it will sound like ***.

It can be made to sound decent, but it will be a TON of work, and a lot of knowledge.

You'd be looking at going for dance club sound in your car. Loud but not the best quality. Think PA address systems.

I can't stress enough how much work these will require.

I'm regretting bringing these up in a thread in the General section.
