Viper 5900

So I'm about to get a viper 5900sst system and install it myself...anyone who owns this, has seen this, or knows basically anything about it...post please. Any tips, tricks, instructions, or just general info on the alarm is appreciated...

just no "dude don't get that alarm it is teh suxorz!"


also if anyone knows anything about those cheap trunk pop kits that sell on ebay for <15$ I'll prolly be throwin one of those in too

I just installed this for a customer last week. It's the same as any other DEI Alarm, except with longer range.

it is a good alarm, same as the viper 791xv. only tips i have is on the remote start relay pack there will be 3 12v wires(2 red, 1 red with white strip all fused) i take and tie the 2 red ones into the red/white wire about 2 inches after the fuses. and read this http://www.sounddomain.com/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/479236/page/1#Post479236
