thats what im saying. if you make 200 watt speakers...make a matching 200 watt amp. i know a few people that will only buy things if the brands match. so why make your consumer potential smaller by not offering a powerful enough amplifer?

I sure wish MB Quart would offer a choice of metal dome tweeters or soft domes.

The interesting thing is if the components had a high sensitivity I would say the 100 watts would be plenty but with a sensitivity of 84 dbs that 100 watts may leave a bit to be desired.

Titanium tweets is basically their trademark. So I don't see that anytime soon.

Yeah I know they've used them since the early 90's, but they scream too much for some applications where the stock tweeters were located in sail panels or the top of the door right near the ears.

Their titanium tweeters are great for kickpanels or the bottom of the doors next to the mids, but Im sure they miss more than a few sales due to those metal domes.

I have to agree on that. I've used nothing but soft domes in every install I've ever done. Oddly enough my home speakers use titanium tweets and I have no complaints with those. I guess its install and application dependent. I have heard some good installs with Quart comps but for the most part they're bright unless they're tamed accurately.
