View Full Version : Filling in holes in door panel?

I am going to do sound deadening, ensolite, and modeling clay. What do you use to fill in the holes in your door panel? The sticky says to use plexi glass and glue but i don't know where to buy plexi glass. And is it even worth it to fill in the holes or will it not make that much of a difference?

You can get plexi at Home depot of Lowes.
But I just used scraps of 1/8in masonite board and liquid nails.

Sheetmetal and self tapping screws is the easiest. I also use a bead of silicone before I put the sheetmetal in place. HD/Lowes will have all of that stuff...

Pretty much any solid surface will work fine. Sheet metal, plexi, or wood will all work fine.
Just mount it so that it can't rattle and your golden.

Is there a noticeable difference after it is done?
