i blown my Kicker speaker but my tweeter and crossover still works. i tried to contact Kicker bout get a new speaker but they never answer back. so could i use this http://www.cardomain.com/item/KIC055KS525. it looks like the same speaker just with the tweeter mounted on the speaker.

those are co axials not comps.

the speakers i have in my door right now is comps but i was going to replace them with coaxils. i think the xover point is 12/db highpass @4000hz and6db@lowpass 4000hz

You're planning on replacing the mid from the comp set with a coaxial speaker? Not a good idea.... You'd be better off looking for a DIY mid that can go up to 5 khz or so. I don't have anything off the top of my head, I've never looked into them yet.
