This is my first Build. Measures as 3 cubic feet at 38 Htz. I've hit a few bumps in the road but im working with them. I just ordered my speaker, Its going to be a 15" RD Audio Alpha. any ways i'll take constructive Critizrism and tips for next build. Thanks again Blove for the help. Now to the PIXZORS!!!

OK first I did a dry run no glue just screws. I attached the front and back.

First Oops. Im just going to fil it with wood filler and seal it up with caulk.

Thats all for today. Im going to work on bracing tomarrow. For the Baffles i think im going to wait till I get my sub to cut the holes. theres going to be 2 baffles with a 3rd as a flush mount. Oh and heres pix with it in the back of my truck.

pretty good for your first box, a powersander could help you with some of the un-evenness of your cuts

Im old skool. a little elbow grease and it will be even. You should have seen the jig saw I used. It was brand new in the early 1900's.

Wow...looks good dude and its 3.3ft^3 but a lot or bracing will put it around 3ft^3.....Port turned out pretty good dude...tell me how yall like the perfect 1:1 ratio :)
Whenever the spare is gone we're dfinately going to have to make a bigger box for this beast

yup some day there will be a wall there, but Wragold = Broke. Im still debating where to put the amp. attach to the back of the seat out the front of the box if it fits.

def. nice for ur first box.....mine still come out worse....nothin some screws cant close up....and you can predrill to avoid the splits...good luck with the rest of it

my neighbor has this cool do dad that predrills and drills for a counter sink. its my new best friend. only problem is its only a one inch predrill.
Oh yeah people tell what you think about painting the box the same color as my interior. A dark glossy red.

Its not. its open. 8 inches by 8 inches through the whole port.

vary nice for a first timer. obviously have experience with wood working... Yeah pnumatic or power sanders do wonders for lil gaps on boxes...

Yeah ive built a few thinga out of wood. Here are the Pix of bracing. Im useing 1'' oak dowel and 2x2's. Dowels arnt screwed in yet but that were there going to be.

Dry put together then redo with glue once sub gets there so he can do the triple baffle

I think my father had that saw when I was in kindergarten/grade school. I'm almost 40 now.

Yay Update!!! I screwed in the dowles and added bracing to the baffeles. Oh and i did cut holes for speaker to mount on. I cut a small hole in top most baffel (flush mount) just so i could see everything lined up. Pix time!

hoping to break down and glue most of it tomorrow. Yeah when it all goes together im just going to put glue there...well idk i might screw it too. the guy is going to ship Wednesday 2-3 day shipping so hopefully Friday yes.

I took apart the box and glued 3 of the 4 walls. I took some more pictures but its late so ill post them later.
