I heard they sound great in a sealed box but I haven't personally heard them in nothing but ported enclosures. However a buddy of mines has 8 15" ssds in a clamshell and they pound pretty hard and those are sealed tho. I retort my statement of me saying I never heard them in a sealed box because I have jus not a pair or like 12"s or 10"s

Ngism did 6 10" SSD's ported in a 6.6ft^3 at 31hz and was around 150's in an ext cab with like 500 RMS to each sub....THEY CAN GET LOUD

Trust me man, do not seal them. Ported is the way to go. I have mine in a 3 ft^3 ported box in my trunk with about 1500 watts rms going to a pair of twelves and they make it hard to breath.
