box help port help

first off i did :search: for a lil while lol.. i got a box and my port ready to go... where should i put my port ? if u was building a lil box 2 cf with 1 4" port wat side would u put the port or on front or back? thx

if so then put the port on a side and see what sound best by turning it different ways
