View Full Version : Question about Pioneer DEH-P590iB Front AUX Input

I've read descriptions at more than five websites and they all say there is a AUX input in the front of the deck. But from the pictures I've looked at, I can't see one.

Can any owners of the DEH-P590iB confirm if there is a front aux input? I want to buy a new deck that has one built in, not one that requires an adapter to use aux in.

There is no front aux input. What you're reading is a typo. It is in the back.

Thanks, I just read that from the official pioneer site a few minutes ago. I don't know nearly every site that sells this deck says that it's in the front.

It is in the front. It is at the bottom of the faceplate. When the faceplate slides down, you will see it.

Alright, thanks.

Front, back, whatever. Doesn't matter to me as long as there is one.

it is most definitely not on the front. the faceplate doesn't "slide" down. It is on the back.

Do I need to buy an adapter to use aux in? Or can I just plug in a cable and be done with it?

you can just buy the cable. Although i'm not sure if it's a 3.5mm input or RCA's.

if it's the DEH 5900IB that you're talking about then no, the aux jack is in the back.
it's a decent deck. better than my alpine 9851 that I had before.
