all the air that comes out of the port makes my 6x9's in the rear shelf make a real loud slapping noise. would getting newer better ones stop that?

It might help getting a set of 6x9s that are made out of a composite material, but honestly i had a similar problem and took out the 6x9s and filled the holes in. I took some sheet metal and covered the wholes and then sound deadened over the whole rear deck and it sounds alot better and completely eliminated all noise come from my rear deck.

I cut it down and finally, barely fit...I cut it down twice I think, and shaved the front corners.

the ones in the fron doors are like the 5 1/2 speakers, will those be the same thing as 6x9s? i dont know much about speakers

get new fronts? hmmmm....

can you point me in the right direction towards some good ones? i dont want anything too expensive just something so i can hear the words of the song and some midbass so that its not all heavy bass.
