I had Daytons, they got loud and did their job... but I was very surprised at the lack of midbass.... and Noah warned me before I bought them.

On my truck, I don't need super-loud... I want something better than stock, and I'm gonna ditch my rear 6x9s (maybe) in the truck.

I'm on a tight budget, ~$100, and I want it to be worth it over stock. I'm probably going to buy a Kicker ZX250.2 to match my 1500.1 and was wondering what component set I should go with? I can fit any size in the door because they're getting glassed, and I have an Eclipse AVN6600 (know nothing about the crossover).

The amp specs are:

85 Watts RMS x 2 CEA2006 rating
125 Watts x 2 RMS @ 2 ohms
250 Watts x 1 RMS @ 4 ohms

Hey bro, long time no talk :)

Heard some good things about the CDT Audio CL-S60A, and they're $100... hmm

I'm quite happy with the poly mids. Ripped the subs out a few days ago, so they've been the only bass I have. Even high passed at 80Hz they have some punch you can feel.

Not sure when they'll be available though, could be a while...

Let's increase the budget... $150 for components, anyone?

150 for comps, or mids? now you upped the budget but changed the question.

I really like the midbass of my daytons... With a little power, proper door deading they effing slam. Seriously! I am blown away contnuously by them after i got power and deadening on them.

Thanks for the help guys!

I spoke with Don (6spdcoupe) and he gave me an offer I couldn't refuse! I ended up picking up the Eclipse SC8264 6.5" component set.
