The stock amp in my Impala is 2 ohm.

Ams do not have impedences. They have limits as to HOW LOW OF IMPEDENCE you can use, but a simple doubling of the nominal impedence will not hurt anything! Just like there's nothing wrong using 8 ohm drivers on a regular car audio amplifier (http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31), there would be nothing wrong with using 4 ohm drivers on your amplifier. If you were so hell-bent on having a 2 ohm nominal load you could purchase two pairs and wire them in parallel to get that 2 ohm load.

K..I meant the stock speakers are 2 ohm and I dont want to use 4 ohm speakers and lose power. I all ready have to turn up the volume high enough to get decent volume out of the system.

Please read the DIY forum thread that was linked to previously in this thread. Specifically in the link that you quoted. It never hurts to learn something. In this case, it could help you out a lot.
