Exhaust guys..help me out

well, i just got a durango with the 5.9 in it, and i heard another one with the 5.9 with dual exhaust, i THINK it was flowmaster 40's but couldnt tell..

Im lookin for it to be pretty loud, with that grumble, boat sound to it..

Let me know what you guys would reccomend..

get a Y pipe coming off off to make it dual then get 2 dynamax and some turndowns i got it on my dodge ram with the 5.7 and its fvcking loud

Or jsut get the flowmaster kit, and bolt it on?

I have a 97 chevy w/ 1 40 series (dumped) and I think it sounds good. The 40 series is the "lowest" sounding they make IIRC. If you're wanting louder then go up a series. (correct me if im wrong, Im not really an "exhaust" guy) lol

glasspaks suk and its illigel to have no cats and his check engine light will kick on

its legal here, and i have had them on both of my trucks, never any problem

but in most states it is illigel to take the cats off

That *****, it sounds so much better with out them, its illegal for shops to take them off here 10,000 fine, but we dont have emission test so they never know.

Get a single in, dual out muffler from flowmaster, magnaflow or whatever maker...

A buddy has a 5.9 ram with a flowmaster super 40, sounds good.

fugg all the pipes run straight from the down pipe to under ur passenger side door

Go with the flowmaster, has a nice sound....if you want loud and rumbly, get the shortest resonator possible, or, just run the pipes straight and you get it really really loud

if you wanna save money go with speedfx mufflers.

it is the EXACT same thing as a 40 series. i have a catback on my car and it sounds good.
