off the topic of the box....you are way under powering those subs. 600 watts is barely enough for 1 R.

Yea I just realized that, dumb me.

you may have messed up by going with dual 2 ohm coils. you can go . 5 ohms, 4 ohms or 2 x 2 ohms. you will have to spend a little more on power.

well what might work well that isnt like a million dollars?

those are your wiring options for ohm loads. when you wire the coils and the subs together, that's what you'll get. you need an amp that does at least 1000 and is stable at one of those ohm ratings.

well the p6002 at least will be ok, though it is not enough power really right? It shouldnt **** anything up......?

if you set the gains right, it'll be ok. you won't hit the R's very hard with it though. mine are getting 1400 rms. with this amp, which will not work with dual 2 ohm coils.

without a dmm, you turn the gains all the way down. then turn the volume 3/4 of the way up on the deck, or as high as possible without your door speakers distorting. you then slowly turn up the gains on the amp until you hear any distortion, then turn it down a little.

sundown 1500 at 1/2 ohm would be nice. Just set gains correctly and your good.

the "gains" are just the one knob that says gain on it or both knobs on the amp? I think their might be 3 actually, god I am retarded when it comes to this ****.......

you should have just one i think. 4 channels have 2, but 2 channel and mono amps generally have just 1.

both of them go in that enclosure. you don't need to divide it.

cool.

What specific requirements would I require from an amp, to push those subs? I am lookinf for a more affordable amp , if possible........

oh nvm then.

good luck on building the box. it's very rewarding when you do it correctly.
oh, i gave a little suggestion in your amp thread

Do you agree with a ported box like kcdc suggested?
