Rainbow CMX settings

Hey guys, I got my system finally installed last night. I have a set of CMXs as my front stage, the mid bass sounds great, but my tweets sound a bit muddy. I didn't know what settings others were using on the passive crossovers. There are 6 different settings for the tweets and I'm using #7. I installed them in the sail panels.

Also, this is my first install where I actually tried to make it sound good. Deadened everything, used modelling clay to seal everything in and tried to get exact on my crossover settings on my amp. I wanted to know what setting you recommeneded on that. I have a JL 300/4 bridged two channel.

try using settings -2 or 0. im using0 on mine and they are loud as hell.

I have the CMX 265 also and have my center frequency at 125 and the width at 3. My Alpine has the same settings as yours so you can try it. Ultimately you have to go by ear to find out what sounds best to you. Also I have the high pass set at 80 hz. Hope that helps.
