Can I only have one port for an enclosure that has 2 subs, or do I need to have 2 ports?

No man you need 2 ports for each sub!!! So you need 4!!! ;)
Really one is fine and in some cases optimal...

As long as you're taking into consideration the port noise, then one is fine. Just don't have a small port for a lot of output. That's the only thing I would watch out for.

That would be more of a problem if he was going with two ports. Because they would be smaller than one large port...

Sweet!
I'm going to do 2 subs in a net 3 foot cubic ported box, tuned to 35 Hz, pushing 900 W RMS per sub.
Any other considerations?

What size subs?
1.5 Cuft per sub seems pretty small...

The subs are 12" TC-9's
I'm putting the box in a Sentra, so space is limited, what with the box, 3 amps and wiring.
Per TCSounds' website as well as REAudio's (compared TC-9 cpecs to RE's SX and SE enclosure recommendations just for the sake of comparison) they should be okay in a 1.5 cubic foot/sub enclosure. It's not optimal; 2 cubic feet is optimal. But, they both said 1.5 cubic feet per sub is okay. They said to tune the box to 32-35 Hz, btw.
Please correct me if I'm wrong in my assumption a 3 cubic foot box is okay.

It is OK but not optimal... As they said...

I would really try and get another cubic foot, but it's up to you man, let us know how it sounds when ur finished :)
My e12a.22 has a recommendation of 1.5cF ported per sub :fyi:
And it's a TC-9 derived motor :fyi:
FWIW.
