Which would be louder? help please.

Ok me and another member is workin on box plans for me for a 12" cvx. Didnt have enough room for a 15" :( .... so would a 12" cvx in 2.25 cubes ported to 35hz be louder or a 12" cvx 3 cubes sealed?

a properly built ported box will always be louder, and sound just as good if not better.
