Does anyone know how to put your own pictures onto the HU? I've followed all of the instructions that the book shows and used the OEL studio. I just can't seem to get it to work.

1. turn off head unit
2. hold down the ENT and DISPLAY buttons until it goes into "download" mode
3. The front panel will open, insert your disc
4. It will display "DOWNLOADING READY" and then "NOW LOADING" (this takes a while)
5. disc is eject, and voila

yeah, i did all that. but i get a 'disc error' instead of 'now loading'

look in your manual. there is a page in the manual with a link to the website. go there and download the program then read the tutorial. its not very hard but i dont feel like explaining it all. you cant just dump any old pic or video onto a cd and expect the unit to read it.

You know.....fvck it. here is the link

Its all in there. keep in mind...the cd player will only read LKA files. LKA files are created once you can figure out which LKD files you want to use. LKD files are basically small pictures or videos that work in accordance with the program you're gonna download. figure out which LKD files you want to use, arrange them in the program, and then let the program create one huge LKA file for you to put onto your cd player. viola.

that's what i'm saying. i've done it all it can't get it to work. i truned all the pictures/videos into LKD files, and then converted them to an LKA file using the OEL software. then i followed the steps to load it onto the cd player, and all i got was a 'disc error'. i bought the HU used, is there any way to simply reset it to factory settings and maybe go from there?

Not sure what the problem is. Are you using the exact same software that is in the link I gave you??

03-03-2007, 02:53 AM
yeah. i downloaded it from the same exact place
