Pioneer 6900ub - Premier 690ub. Looks like they haven't hit the shelves yet.

Pioneer,Kenwood and JVC all have USB imputs.
As well as a bunch of knockoff h/u's that arent worth $20

Eclipse rep says that the CD7100 will only read up to 1GB off a HD or thumbdrive. We used to sell a JVC at work that had a USB on the front and it was able to read 4GB. So yes, there are (rather low) capacities that HU's can read. Best bet would be to contact the manufacturer of each product you have interest in.

As far as recc... didnt care for the JVC we had. It was nice having the USB and all, but not much in the audio control side of things. That's really the only one I've had the chance of working with.
