Dayton Reference Series 7" Drivers.
Great deal and good sounding. Need to deaden the doors badly here though.

Dang, that looks like a very nice soundstage, specially with the horns. I'm thinking of doing something like that but speakers would probably hit the side of my legs.
And im guessing Toyota or Lexus?

i like it too- it's in my new car
audiocontrol model 20 runs the rs 7"s, ppi a400 on the other two, lc6 and eqx in there too, also ppi a600 on si bm 10s ported front firing sealed up to the back of the seats (but subs aren't in yet)

I have Rainbow Germaniums in my 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara. In my truck I had MB Quart Reference components and MB Quart Reference mids.

it's difficult to jerk off to a system like that w/ no pics

What's on my doors? Some very boring tan door panels, the crank for my windows, the door handle, and my Diamond M6 mids mounted over the stock speaker location on some spacers and the tweeters are on the sail panels adjacent to the rearview mirrors.

i'll have pics when it is completely done- doing a very careful job of making it almost completely stock looking though (other than when the seats are down- then it's custom fiberglass on the front)

btw- the 7"s are in pretty SICK pods where the stock speaker grille used to be

heh- wait until you see what ends up in the ????? in the explorer from above
i'm prolly going mtx 9510 (take it for what it is, and i'm running 9515s i the back already) for 100hz and down, davis (20GKLV8TDF) 8s for 100-800, and those cd2 comps on up... i know the 9500 isn't the "coolest" sq piece of equipment, and neither are the mtx thunder amplifiers i'll be using, but they will certainly do the truck for what i'm doing in the vehicle particularly when paired with that other stuff... i think it will be very drool worthy

expo, how do you like your diamonds? Im thinking about getting the same thing for my fronts, and the 5 1/4 hex's for the rear.
Currently I have 4" boston s45's in my 4runner's dash. Im going to build pods eventually though.

diamonds are good- they are the weakest set-up i have to be honest, but they are still very good speakers for the money etc.
I'd probably rather personally save money and just go with like jbl power series or cl-61s or go all the way to something more like my mercedes (but that requires a lot more install work)
