i know i just didnt know how to do it...looks like i should start with the bottom...attach the sides.....do the double baffle top and front with the port attached....then attach that to the sides

It depends on the box for me.But personally I lay the bottom down, do the back, sides, front baffle, then port (if it attaches to the front baffle) and so on and I end with the top.
Just look at the design and you can get it.

but to do the back you gotta screw in through the bottom right?

i always do exactly what mountaineer man said; and you don't have to screw; i'd invest in some good clamps.
or, if you don't have clamps, do what i used to do. put the bottom board on a table with the back lip hanging over by a 3 inches or so. glue the back piece and set it where it's going. with the help of a friend/relative/whoever, screw it in. sit down and screw up, while your friend pushes down on the board and keeps it lined up. put a brick/weight on the front lip of the board, to help weight distribution.

so make the port as high as whatever the L x W comes out to be the square inches of port desired>

no, the "bottom" edge of the port in your design that i seen will be (W) high from the bottom of the box

how you build really depends on the design...
I did one similar HERE (http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=206387)
BTW, I would have gave you a 3d build sheet if I designed it, typically by request;)
