bought a 98' nissan frontier with this h/u in it .when i try to turn it on it asks for code, how do i get around this because i can't get in touch with the owner since the vehicle was bought at a salvage auction?

i hate to be the one to tell you bad news but i don't think you can get them...there is no master code...where you at in louisiana?

sometimes if you disconect power to the hu and then plug it back in,it might work.

nope, it's got a lockout feature. only the original owner knows the code. sry mang.
