View Full Version : Friend would like DD DVD unit, needing some suggestions please.

I'm searching for some advice here. He said he's willing to spend $600, but will do more if the unit is really good for the price (probably $700). He's not seriously into audio, I think he just wants DVD playback for long trips, and possibly navi expansion later. So, crossovers, EQ's, etc aren't a necessity, though most come with a basic EQ'ing system anyway. I don't have experience with any Kenwood, Eclipse, or Clarion decks, and I know all of those companies make DD units. Any advice here, or where to look? Please provide links if you can. Thanks in advance for the help.

Man, only if he wanted my D310. lol

Someone one here was selling older Eclipse DD navi units for $500 shipped BNIB. Search the classifieds.

edit: I can't seem to find them anymore. The guy had like 3 or 4.

I know. Even still, I don't think he'd be willing to go over $700. Hey, sell me yours for $700 and I'll sell him mine, lol.
