I'm doing a setup for a night club.. i was thinking 4 15s in 4 cube sealed cabins and 2 behringer 2000 watt rack amps... any suggestions on subs????

im looking for something that gets loud and sounds pretty decent... doesn't have to sound necessarily good just decent price range is about $300 per sub

If you feel like building your own bass rig, here is one idea of many.

You can order plans.

If you like bass horns like the ones linked, *and* you can handle a more complex project,
I have another but I can't post it in public domain.

alright well i looked at bit and this is what i've seen that i liked.. on the ascendant site they list the havocs for 300 a piece.. i think that would suit me well especially with their 1500 watt rms rating

the amp(s) i have kick 4x1200 @ 2 ohms and im pretty sure they'll be maxed... anyone have any experience with the havocs?? do you think they can withstand the beating for hours of play??? im really looking to get this done soon if anybody has any thought feel free

How big is the night club?
Is this a permanent install?
What are their bass expectations?

Indeed....

Why not just use some good 18" pro-audio drivers???

Do them in a big ported box front loaded and you should be fine.

Check out B&C, JBL, or EVX-180B. Still good drivers for pro-audio....

Those B&C drivers are great for the money. I have seen them used in several applications with out any issue at all.

you do know there are reasons why people dont use pro audio subs in cars, and visa versa right?
