well, after a weekend of 8 hour shifts im to lazy to search
but...........
i was curious as to how a bandpass box works, (no need for dumbed down terminology) the difference between the different orders, and possibly examples of/picuters of the innards of each.
also, what makes these different from ported and sealed, and what advantages/disadvantages do they have over sealed or ported.
i know im askin alot but im new into this stuff and really starting to love building systems and all that junk.
thnx -derek

I'm starting to play with bandpass designs. Basically this is a combination of a sealed and ported enclosure. You will get a clean transient response (like a sealed box) and gain a couple dB (like a ported box) within the passband if the box is design correctly.

Here a good explanation: @ 12 Volt (http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxes4.asp)
