Got the last Ural in the us that I know if in all black :) Pretty darn excited. Is being shipped today. I love rare equipment that actually functions! WIll post pics and a full review soon on the deck.
I am going to see if I can have a custom knob cnc'ed for it which actually will look good. Do it in black chrome or somthing... Anyways the black looks like this...
hope it actually shows up :)
should be a sweet unit if it works.

Was always interested in how well the unit actually performed.
The whole button on the right thing bothered be too, but then again it IS foreign...
Also, what about warranty?

Well not much for warranty... guess I would have to send it to Russia *LOL* But hey I am cool with that. Now owners have reported any mechanical issues so that is a good thing...

My roommate is running his 4 way active. One of the nicest, and loudest sq systesms I've ever heard. Cool HU for sure.
As far as reliability goes, his has been installed just under a year, with no issues. The ability to upgrade the software on the fly is a pretty nifty thing too.

Very nice simplistic look. But yeah, I would definitely see about having a different knob for it.

Got the unit in today, wow looks like james bond crap haha. Comes in a locked suitcase, some kind of key card thing inside / mabey it is a warranty card or somthing. Very high class but all in rusky. Faceplace weighs more than two faceplates from any deck I have owned. Cannot wait to fire her up and play. Looks nicer in person than in the pics. Build quality looks immaculate. I noticed metal mesh screen on all the chassis holes.... Feels solid as a rock.

Just took some, have to run to the docs but will be back later to post. Faceplate detach is simply perfect. best design I have seen. Reminds of of the action on my alpine 7949 non motorized.... But the plate mounts so tight and perfect...
