It does appear that the subs arent centered evenly. :crap:

Death By Bass

subs arent level...

putting subs on different planes is generally a no-no...

box isn't even made to fit the car, and make best use of the available space...

poor guy should have just spent $30 on a prefab box...

Subs are level, is just the image

box is what clients ask for, cause he wants some space in the sides, the box is made in the advailable space he ask for.

And yes he could spend $30 on a prefab box, but it wont sound as good as this box sounds.

lol, cos you're box is a MAGIC sealed box, that sounds better than all other sealed boxes, now isn't it

oh well, like I said, I feel sorry for the guy that bought it.

btw, the subs aren't level, its not just the pic, unless the subwoofer box somehow magically bends light?

:uhoh: I can't see any reason to bash on the guy's work when it doesn't affect you in the least and looks good.

well, its just the fact that his custom built box, is no better than all the prefab boxes you see, except, I'm guessing it costs more.

if the customers happy, wtf does it matter? try giving constructive suggestions so the next time he builds a custom box it is near perfect, instead of just being a douch

ok, fine then...

my constructive criticism is... if a customer wants something that isn't custom, sell him a prefab box, instead of making one!!!

But yet, that adds nothing to this thread whatsoever except to make him feel bad. What do you care if the customer likes it? Might as well have not said anything.

It looks pretty good.Just ignore the douche rocket.

TO me it looks like the sub on the left is bigger than the one on the right. But I'm tired and hell.My eyes are probably just playing a trick on me.

Don't like the color or the subs but everything else looks decent. The important part is that the customer is happy. I have seen some weird **** done in installs to make customers happy, but they are the ones giving me the money so I do what they want!

What amplifier are they using on those 4 little guys?

x2. Sometimes whats best isnt always what the customer wants. But like you said, hes the one paying for it, so it should get done his way.

Looks like you did a nice job on the box.

Yep, I'm a fairly nice person if you're on my good side, or you aren't a complete r-tard.

I don't recall giving you a time frame for sure. And you didn't pay me to build and test.I'm at no ibligation to do so.I'll still do it when I get free time.

I use contact cement (Dont know if this is a correct term, cause thats the name in spanish), but that kind of vinyl was so hard to get it in place cause it have some cotton in the back and the cotton goes one way and the vinyl to the other, take a little bit more than normal, just cause the color the customer want.

His is using some rare amps, i havent heard about then but those subs really impress me, they go over my expectation, and hit really hard for just 600Wand about $150 for the four subs.

yeah but for 600watts and $600 you could end up with a RE SE12 or 15, a ported box would be just as big, and wang just as hard IF not harder. but for a budget sub, the RFs do alight.

It doesn't seem like these two go well together. Are you starting a business that builds boxes with only two box builds under your belt?
