Looking for somebody to build me a box. Nothing fancy. I preffer someone that has experience in building enclosures. If local great but if it has to ship out I'll pay the shipping fee's. * If available please send me pics of previous work.
The enclosure is for HT use for a 12" avalanche 3cuft tuned to 24hz with a cutout in the rear for the plate amp. I myself will finish the box with herculiner. external dimensions 16"W x 22.5"D x 30"H
Thank You for your time.

PM sent. Did Chad recommend that tuning for the sub? Most HT subs are tuned a little lower....

I emailed chad and he said 3cuft tuned below 25hz. I currently have the sub in 3cuft tuned to 24hz. It sounds great and gets low. But becasue I built a seperate chamber for the amp(didnt want to bend the port) the box is too big and the port is too small.

Whats the purpose for the walls on both sides of the sub? So that the sub doesnt fire into the port?

This is a question about the software that you used for the diagrams. Thanks and good luck on your box.

Looks like a brace and a loading wall.
Nice build.

Just for bracing.
Powering it with a PE 500W amp and it gets too loud!! When I play the last scene on fight club(when the buildings collapse) The ceiling flexes a bit!

NO such thing as too loud in a HT. My 4 15" Tempests aren't too loud and I have nails popping out of the drywall in every room in the house. :D
And I also want to see the ceiling flex vid....

I'm up in Beach Park, near Gurnee, so you're only about an hour away. A demo would be MUCH better. :naughty:
92" screen with an Optoma projector and a room full of Klipsch towers plus the Tempests = HT nirvana for me :)
