I would go with 18 x 8.5-9.5 and look at Toyo Open Country M/T and Nitto Terra Grappler for tires. I have BFGoodrich All Terrains on my Jeep and they're great too, but pricey if you went with an 18"

If you are set on 16 x 8, look at American racing AR-23 (I have them in 15 x 8 on my Jeep and love the look)

Look at some Dunlop Mud Rovers

Beat me to it.

I have these on my Dakota 15x10.5x31 and the road noise isn't bad at all. Very good tread for all kinds of driving. They came with the truck when I bought it and I wore them out and then bought some more just like them. Great tire and purdy affordable too.

Working on it but i cant find a pic of it.

Ive looked at the Dunlop Mud Rovers But it seems like everyone says they wear pretty fast.

Now im looking at the Maxxis MT-762 Bighorn Radial.
Seems like everyone likes them.
