where is there a place to get cheap but good mid bass drivers. i searched and cant find anything i want.

But they are all relatively "application specific" and not something you can just drop into any ole installation.

How are you going to use them? Active or passive? Dedicated midbass only?

ive got tweeters all i need is some cheap but decent mids. price range 30-40 dollars i guess. i over spent the last couple of day's lol. thanks for the help

what are you using for power? what xover do you have?

ill be using a fosgate 3001 for power. i need to get some crossovers

an active setup. what headunit are you using? what crossover were you looking to get for them?

as of right now i have no clue. i used to stick with mainstream crap and never put together a component system before. so if you guys can help me with this id appreciate it a hole hell of a lot

my head unit is a low line sony. might exchange it with a clarion. i have 2 clarion decks on the way.

my problem is i have no good mids at this point. my bass completley drowns it out.

Reason I ask....from what you've posted so far, I think you are going about it the wrong way and are going to end up with worse performance than what you intend.

I think purchasing a pre-built comp set would be in your best interest....and you can find some decent sets for reasonable prices.

well crap. oh well i guess ill just put some 5 1/4'' pioneers in and amp them up and call it a day.:crap: thanks guy's:crap:

you can get some cheap Phoenix Gold comps at a lot of places. The octane comps are about 45-50 + shipping.

Cadence has some low priced comp sets too. They don't sound bad for the price.
