Do yall think I should run 1 or 2 component sets to keep up with some Rockford HE2 15"? The amp will match the set. Vehicle 2000 silverado ext. cab. If 1 set what brand?

1 set if you want it simple and easy to install + tune.

2 if you are willing to take the time to properly tune each channel to your exact needs, play with crossovers, slopes, etc....

Where are all the speakers located in the cab of your truck?

He is gonna put 1 set in the doors and the other in kick panels. (q-form) I didn't have much as far as reasoning but I did reccomend if he did it atleast get the same brand.

It will be in doors and in the kick. I not the worried about staging; more about hearing the words and mids clearly.

do a 3way setup, a 6.5 subwoofer in the door, midrange in the kick along with tweeter. PM me if interested in some CDT drivers.

I dont think 3-way would be loud enough. Correct me if I am wrong.

3-way would be plenty loud

his subs aren't going to be all that loud in the grand scheme of things

however, i'd run a 5.25 or 6.5 inch set in kicks (whatever fits) and dedicated woofers in the doors off a different amplifier channel.

They get pretty loud. No "ho problems" loud but loud enough to make the nose itch, etc

I coudl also sell you guys some cd1-e horns... which could be paired with some decent mids and would really keep up.

they are in great condition

I am thinking about running the Boston Pro60.
