Well i was going to go with the arbiter tm set from ascendant audio. But after calling chad they no longer have any poly mids left. So i am in search of a loud active setup. I need a mid perferably 6.5 or whatever will fit into the stock location of a ford explorer...i might fiberglass but i am unsure yet. And i need a tweeter these will be powered by a 16-mca3004 and a pioner 880prs. But i need these to get loud to keep up with my subs 2 18 inch btls. By budget is 160-200. So let me know with what I should look at and what not.
As always thanks.

I haven't heard anything wrong with the pioneer prs set and believe me I have tried as I am upgrading as well.

I recommended him that one after reading many reviews on DIYMA. Seems to have a strong following.

Let me know how that works out. If it works really well with the dayton rs 7". I might go the route. It would save $$.

I wonder how hard it is to mount? I don't really like the idea of "pressure fit"

baseballer1100
01-09-2007, 11:09 PM
Shouldnt be too hard but what do i know?

Flipx99
01-09-2007, 11:11 PM
What daytons are you looking for? I thought the 7" didn't like being crossed that high

I dunno...i got the ones someone posted and the seas tweet...

Flipx99

If you went for the rs-180-4 I would be hesistant to cross higher than 1.5-1.8. Seas reccomends their tweet to cross a 2.5k. I am (like you) studying active and curious what the response is
