Some one needs to check my math I think. Becuase my calculations are telling me that the box is 5.2 cubic ft provided the box is .75 inch MDF. If the port is 4 inches round than it only needs to 1.5 inches long which seems really friggin wrong to me. Anyone wanna double check that.

Whats the driver displacement and are those dimensions interior or exterior? That info would be valuable. I took them as being outside dimensions

Your volume is incorrect if those are exterior dimensions as you did not take into account for the thickness of the wood.

Man you have changed your dimensions 2 times now. I can help you out if you give your max dimensions and driver / drivers. What I got from your first post is the following:
Width= 23.00 inches
Height= 14.00 inches
Depth= 36.00 inches
Desired Tuning Freq: 34.00 Hz
Port Length= 20.07 inches
Driver Volume= 4.50 cu/ft
Port Area= 50.00 sq/in
Slot Vent Width: 4.00 inches
Driver Displacement: 0.18 cu/ft
Number of Drivers: 1.00 qty
Very rough, give me something to work with….

Try this:
http://www.reaudio.com/speaker_box/LPort_Box_Calc.html
You can input dimensions and it'll tell you what type of frequency and cubic footage you'll end up with.
Nice car in your sig, bcleachd. That's a joke, right? What part of Columbus you from?
