Looking for tweeters.

Hey everyone, Happy Holidays. I'm plannin to go active 2 way, I decided on my mids but aren't too sure about tweeters yet.

I'm looking for a really detailed, clear, very loud but not harsh tweeter. I've got about 60-70 rms to run each tweeter. If you guys could help, that'd be great. :D

i have a Kicker Component set

Kicker rs 6.5

it has two crossovers two 6.5's and two tweets

you can get the CDT ES-01 tweeters they're quite nice sounding, only thing is they are flush mount only.

what mids are you getting?

THESE (http://www.madisound.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?exact_match=yes&product=SEA&cart_id=393216.12042) are all supposed to be pretty nice.

for mids, i'm looking at dayton references. anyone have experience with crystal's sscs tweeter?

If you are running the Dayton Refs, why not get the matching Ref tweeter?

One thing you'll need to be mindful of is finding a tweeter that will play low enough to properly mate w/ the Ref mids.......which the Ref tweeter will do.
