has anyone ever used this stuff? i like the way it looks, and i wanna try it out on my wall maybe. does it flake or anything i should be aware of?

same stuff used on the finish of this wall.

If you put it on in thin coats it doesnt flake too bad. I usually cover it with some kind of clear sealant to help with that problem.

I did not cover mine with any sealer or clearcoat. It has not flaked. A lot will depend on which brand you use.

I followed the instructions on the can which called for pretty thick coats IIRC. Other brands may call for different methods.

use it one a sub box onse co letely dry it is very durable and rarely chips.

It's pretty difficult to put it on lightly. I used the fleckstone brand and it came out very full with just one quick spray at about 6 feet away.

If you do it, make sure to seal it well. I only did about two coats of clear coat and it came off pretty easily. I didn't care for the look or feel when I was done with it and it was a ***** to get even if you didn't get it right the first spray. The brand GrnEydDvl used seemed to go on much lighter as well.
