best dimensions for ported 12" type x

Others that have used the sub, or just know more about subs than i do (which there are many, i can admit) what would be the optimum ft^3 and hz for a 12inch type x, If I can get something designed up I may make it to put in my 2000 trans am, i would like really deep bass and still retain the sq, right now its in about 1.25 cubic feet sealed

idk if you can fit this or not, but 2.5 @ 32hz has worked well for me. I built the box for a friend of mine and his type X.

how much space do you have to work with in the trans am? I can design you a custom inclosure.
