WE DONT!!!!

We built this box in literally 10min. cutting wood and and calking. The bad thing...its going in an SQ install...lol. Box is 0.7 cubes sealed...for an Alpine Type X...Just a test box to see how a box this small sounds. The reason its so small is because its going in a spare tire well, and the sub is going to be inverted...flush with the floor...you will get the idea when we post final pics.

P.S.

A pretty box is actually getting constructed next, for the BTL. Panels cut, waiting to be glued and nailed.

His install is actually very nice...we will get some pics later.

lol...@ db's. This box probably wont break a 130...this is strictly SQ test box, we didnt know how the Type X would act in such a box...Still dont know, Alpineinstaller is sleeping in his car...lol

weakling.

PS. I got pics....and The BTL box is finished...almost atleast. just have to install the external aeros, and put on the baffle.

I didn't like the Type-X in 1 cube sealed; it felt too small and too aggressive. I enjoyed a pair in 4.5 cubes sealed though. They were smooth and had a ton of low end.

little update...

Yes, the box is in that eclipse.

sounded very respectable for .6 or .5 or .7 what ever it was sealed

did a 133.8 IIRC on the TL (remember this is in a convertible with a soft top)

shoulda seen the box sub_urban and I whipped out. 30 minutes cutting and 1 hour throwing it together. 5 @ 42 btw. ugliest box ive ever seen but it was darn loud.
