I've noticed several threads with people complaining about crappy DIY auto manuals.
I thought I'd share this company with you. They're pricey, but they are the same ones Dealership mechanics use. Last one I bought for my Accord was $79
If you wrench your own car it will be the best money you ever spend. They give step by step insructions with plenty of pics and also a complete color electrical schematic for each car. They are model year specific.

i had a GM service manual that was just priceless for my trans am. tried to find one for the explorer, but all i could find was a cd i got off ebay that isnt nearly as useful. the diagrams, especially the wiring diagrams aren't as good as the GM one i had. may have to check this out, see what they have for my truck.

I'm pretty sure they make one for every vehicle made.

if they have one for your car, it's worth the money, every penny
/thread
they guide you through EVERY step of EVERY task you could ever have to perform on your car, down to how to crack open a guiness when you're done
