AR, Monster, Kimber, they all make fine HDMI cables, but being that its a data cable you shouldnt have to worry about interference so just about any HDMI cable should work fine, someone correct me if Im wrong here.

yea hes right, its not like the old school component or s video cables. youll be fine with something basic, no reason to spend the extra money on "better cables" where you wont see any improvment in picture quality.

I got lazy and bought the Monster because the Sony one was the same price.....
There are ones out there for $50 cheaper...

so the PS3 doesnt have any sort of different connection on the back such as a harness? its just a straight HDMI to HDMI cable?

I purchased 2 35' and 4 3' HDMI cables from Monoprice about a month ago and all worked great for 1/3 the price of that Monster crap

I can't find the link at the moment....don't remember the name of the place. But I picked up two 6' cables for 10.99 ea. Very good quality too.. As others have said, don't spend the extra dough on these cables.
