the sx's are very tough, and dont cost as much as the mx,i ran a pair of 15's in my explorer for awhile, off 2400 watts they would beat like hell and sound good.

1 MX can take that 2400 watts and pound doing it

Well RE said that the SE's are going to be on back order for a couple weeks but they did offer me 2 MX 15's... but i dont think that the MD3d is enough to power 2 of them... RE said the MX's are 1200rms... i dont know im thinkin of just getting my money back from RE and saleing all my USamps and re Components and doin all RF 2 RF T2 15's on T3000.1

T2's are very good wooofers ... just not to many people on here have ran MX's and dont know what they are like... how do yall know they will take 2k daily if u havnet done it?....

Because a couple have said they can so everyone says that. But maybe these ppl have ran some b4, I'm pretty sure 90accordman has one. Talk to RE about what they can handle. I would go with 2 15" MX's, then if that one amp isnt enough, just add another one later on. Can you run those amps at .5 ohms?

mobeious
12-11-2006, 10:23 PM
i dont think u could run them at .5 on daily.... so i cant add another amp later

Maintstream FTL. RF<RE

Hah its funny how in certain communities that the non-mainstream company becomes the norm. Fi and RE have become the norm around here from what I've seen. It reminds me of a certain South Park episode where they are making the dance team, and their last hope for a last spot is asking the goth kids. One of the goth kids tells stan that they dont want to do it, because they're going against the social norm. The other goth kid answers that by saying that hes going against THEIR conforming, by not conforming to their non-conformism (if that makes any sense). I don't know exactly where I'm going with this, but a lot of people who havent heard every single sub out there have put them down just because they arent a Fi Q/BTL or RE XXX/SX/MT/MX. I'm not directing this towards anyone. Maybe I'm just venting it a bit. I personally like my Rockford T1, and it blows a lot of people in my area away. I know its nowhere near high-end ****, and hell I recently installed 2 12" Fi SSD's in my friends mazda 6 and they surprised the **** outta me. I might even be joining the "dark side" and looking into a 12" Q sometime soon.

PS - what I would do is try your hardest to get to hear both of those subs in quality setups and then chose from there what you would like most.

4 the record..i wouldnt do mx subs for daily...only because it uses a neo mag...and with neo mags the warmer it gets the bl starts dropping
with the amount of power u have mobeious i would do either 4 se15's
or 4 sx15's

who doesn't use neo? re mx does. if it's about the pics (took them myself), those are ferrite mag's with a steel top plate.
