hey im in the process of getting my project together, it had a 425 buick engine in the car stock. Its a long story on what happened to the engine, but i need another 425 buick engine to go in the car now if anybody has one or know where i can get one please let me know, also ive already checked memory lane and they only had the 401 nailhead engine but they wanted a bit to much.

Also if i cant get the 425 im just going to throw this 350ci engine that i have in, in which i really i dont want to result to.

BTW i have a 1964 Buick Riviera for those interested

u could strip it down to the block and take it to a garage and tell them u want it checked to make sure its any good. then buy all new components from there up... but it might get expensive.. it will prolly cost about $200 or so to check the block.

ya that would be the cheapest thing to do... just hope you can get it to run lol... i bought my 66 galaxie off ebay and they said the 390 would prollly run with a tune up as it did a couple years back.. i strip it down and the engine is full of weeds and dirt! :crap:

yea i was going to bust it all the way down get the block boiled and cleaned up jus like u said and start a rebuild

Remind me Chris...

I'll ask my dad's best friend, he's restored a lot of cars... currently has a SICK 68 Nova.
