Here is a box I build a couple months back for my 2 re se drivers.

Here are the beginning steps of the box build. First I used wood glue and 1 1/4" finishing nails to set the wood in place. Then I finished with a wood sealant and 1 1/4" wood screws.

Then I put the rest of the box together for a mock up, but didn’t want to install the face until I get the subs. I will cut the speaker holes when the subs come so I can be sure the holes are accurate and I don’t have to cut them in the box

After I mocked of the face and port I installed the slot of the port. FYI, this is much more time consuming to install then a cylinder port you have to measure and re-measure. With a cylinder port (which is what I have alwyas designed to in teh past) you can just cut once and then push the port in.

Here is the next step of my box build. Before I put the top on and sealed everything up. I am going to test the performance with a signal generator, the Orion 1200D amp and the RE SE subs.

Everything sounded good and fit so I carpeted. Whole project including wood cutting and carpeting 12 hours (I let the glue set for 7 hours before adding the drivers and carpet).

Haha, that's awesome! Good job with that. You should make a semi-business out of it.

It wasn't a shop that bought it, sorry to be misleading... I was at a shop (meyer emco) and people were all going on and on about thier "custom" JL setups. So I mentioned that I had RE subs. "RE subs, what are those made by Jensen" (I didn't even know Jenen even made equitpment any more). I started playing around with gains and one of the guys like it so much he offered me cash for them and had the shop install everything.
