i have a 10" type r on that same amp.
in a 1.5cuft at 32Hz. it hits low as hell. but the mid 80 and up it lacks it well it doesnt lack it i think the amp just pushes it too hard at that freq. and it sounds rught because if i lower the volume the sub will actualy sound nice up there too.
so i have to say too much power because of impedance drop maybe.
but its a nice low end hitter.

why would you want the woofer to play that high?

humm because 80Hz still subwoofer duty!.
does that make any sence to you?
i have has subs play all the way to 120Hz in perfect harmony with the rest of the system and do it well.

wt... what impedence drop.... there is a impedence rise from the box... and you got pics of it?

what exacly are you asking?
impedance drop happen for many reasons on a sub. over heated voice coil from too much power on low frequencies. hum yeah some times from the enclosure. humm i think theres a couple other reasons.

most SPL set ups run that high.
in a SQ set up your mids should be picking up around 60hz give or take.

i would say so if you have a decent set of midbass drivers. but for most cases. the sub will do 80hz and it doesnt have to be an spl set up to hit that high.
personaly i dont see it as that high ither.

naw i'm wondering what you are talking about because i have not heard of anything causing a impedence drop... and enclosures cause impedence RISES... not drops so... i don't really know what you are talking about there... but do you have pics of your set up?

thanks. i try. that enclosure its only temporary and getting replaced with a tc-3000 15" power with dual rockford fosgate T10001BD, now my debate is should i take the back seats out and build an enclosure there or just build the system on a crx.
hummm.

looks like you are pritty good with it.... so do you think i can make this box and have it tuned decent if it is only 1.5 cubes with a 6" aero?

do you only have 1.5cuft of enclosure not including the displacement of the port to work with?
