Upload a pic of the Dash so they can get an idea.

Basically the problem with the radio in those cars is that the AC controls are integrated into the stock headunit all as one piece and its like the side of a double din and a half or more.

Good news, and bad news.

The good news is a dash replacement kit is made to replace your factory stereo.

RX8 Stereo Replacement Kit

The stereo install kit is the best way to install an aftermarket stereo in your RX8 and keep the climate controls without resorting to cutting of wiring and making permanent changes. The kit is complete with the surround, harness and mounting hardware for your aftermarket stereo/DVD unit.

Now the bad news.

It costs $486.00 !

Let me ask you guys this. Is there a way to add an I-pod to the factory deck? This way she doesn't have to change anything? :eyebrow:
