my father just bought a 50 inch vizio plasma and we are hooking it up. We came across the surge protector saying it has these specs....bold is what the question is about

2800 Joule Surge Protector
Model # N2800Surge

KEY FEATURES

8 Surge Protected Outlets
8’ Power Cord
Phone/Fax/Modem DSL Protection
EMI/RFI Noise Filter
Coax/Cable/DSS Surge Protector
4 Transformer Spaced Outlets
Child-Safe Outlet Covers™
$200,000 Connected Equipment Guarantee (see warranty for details)

What exactly is "Transformer Spaced Outlets"?

Pretty sure that means that the outlets are spaced out enough to plug four "wall warts" into it at a time. They are the big black boxes that cover up 2 outlets on a standard power bar. *They are stepdown transformers*

Duurrrr....dunno why I didnt see that. I didnt realize they were literally "spaced out, as I am not really hooking it up, just helping with the little things. He asked me to post so I did. I believe your right, thanks.
