looks good but I see a split and you didn't paint one of the pieces of the port... :) (nvm, pics out of order)

Why do you prefer the router with flush bit vs building an inset baffle instead of using the the top/bottom/side edges on the face?

you do realize that the small MDF brace\partition there will be very weak though?

you would have been better off using some type of 2x4 or other hardwood.

just my .2 cents. the box looks great tho.

Why do you prefer the router with flush bit vs building an inset baffle instead of using the the top/bottom/side edges on the face?

just a personal preference. nothing of sheer importance.

why would it be weak?

its mainly there to keep the front from flexing. I used it on the wall and the front doesnt flex at all.

what type of 2x4's would you recommend? the ones that we are using for VJ's wall seem pretty soft, and i dont know how well that would work out. time for me to go to home depot and see whats up. Thanks for the pointer, and the compliments as well

looking good pimp. im curios as well to know why would that brace would be weak for the front baffle. 2 x 4 sound a little overkill. whats the deal?

You best believe that thing has a turbo. GNX's are an upgraded GN with performance upgrades etc.

Pretty sure all grand nationals are turbo'd. That's what makes them a grand national. :D I'll let him clarify since it's his **** car.

brock86gn
12-26-2006, 03:32 PM
Yea all grand nationals a turbo'ed...The gnx is a glorified grand national a little bit faster but only 547 of them made. There really expensive too ~$90K...Where is the meet at?
